This guide requires you to have already connected IFTTT to your WIFIPLUG account. Not yet set this up? Please see this guide on how to link your WIFIPLUG account to IFTTT.
Open the IFTTT app and login to your IFTTT account.
Go to the 'My Applets' tab and press the add (+) icon in the top right corner.
Tap the 'this' button to select the applet trigger then search for "Twitter" to find the Twitter service.
Select the 'New tweet by you with hashtag' option.
Enter the hashtag that you would like to use to trigger your WIFIPLUG.
Tap the 'then' button to select the applet action then search for "WIFIPLUG" to find the WIFIPLUG service.
Select the WIFIPLUG service then choose if you would like your device to turn your WIFIPLUG on, off or blink it.
Choose which device you would like to use with this applet using the drop down menu. Once chosen, press the tick icon in the top right corner.
You will now be able to preview your applet. Press the 'Edit title' button to change the name of your applet and choose whether or not you would like to receive notifications when the applet is run. When you're happy, press 'Finish' to complete the creation of your applet.
If you need to make changes, press the back button.
