This guide requires you to have already connected IFTTT to your WIFIPLUG account. Not yet set this up? Please see this guide on how to link your WIFIPLUG account to IFTTT.
This guide also requires the Tasker app.
Step 1)
Open the IFTTT app and login to your IFTTT account.
Step 2)
Once logged in, go to the 'Search' tab and search "Webhooks" to find the Webhooks service.
Step 3)
Select the Webhooks service and press 'Connect' to begin linking your IFTTT account.
Step 4)
Once the Webhooks service has been linked, press the settings icon in the top right corner. Tap the URL shown to open a webpage with your Webhooks details. From here, make a note of your key. Be careful not to share this key with anybody else.
Step 5)
Once you have made a note of your key return to the IFTTT app. From here, go to the 'My Applets' tab and press the add (+) icon in the top right corner.
Step 6)
Tap the 'this' button to select the applet trigger then search for "Webhooks" to find the Webhooks service.
Step 7)
Select the Webhooks service then choose the 'Receive a web request' option.
Step 8)
Enter "phone_fully_charged" as the event name then press the tick in the top right corner.
Step 9)
Tap the 'then' button to select the applet action then search for "WIFIPLUG" to find the WIFIPLUG service.
Step 10)
Select the WIFIPLUG service then choose the 'Turn off' option.
Step 11)
Choose which device you would like to use with this applet using the drop down menu. Once chosen, press the tick icon in the top right corner.
Step 12)
You will now be able to preview your applet. Press the 'Edit title' button to change the name of your applet and choose whether or not you would like to receive notifications when the applet is run. When you're happy, press 'Finish' to complete the creation of your applet.
If you need to make changes, press the back button.
Step 13)
Open the Tasker app and press the add (+) button in the bottom right corner then select the 'Event' option.
Step 14)
Select the 'Power' category then select the 'Battery Full' option.
Step 15)
Press the back button to return to the 'PROFILES' screen then select 'New Task' from the popup.
Step 16)
Name your task "PhoneFullyCharged" then press the tick button to confirm it.
Step 17)
Press the add (+) button to select an action. Select 'Net' from the list then choose 'HTTP Request'.
Step 18)
Set the method to POST then enter the Webhooks URL. You will need the key you made a note of earlier for this step.
In the 'URL' field, enter the following: https://maker.ifttt.com/trigger/phone_fully_charged/with/key/[your key]
Step 19)
Press the back button twice to return to the 'PROFILES' screen then long press on the 'Battery Full' profile to bring up the profile options. Press either 'Name'.
Step 20)
Enter "Phone Charger" as the name then press the tick to confirm the change.
