Timers not firing/showing wrong time
This issue mainly affects Timers that have the repeat option set. Users may see their Timers display a different "next fire" date and time to what they initially setup. The time will be shown as 1 hour behind what you initially set but the Timer itself will still fire at the correct time you wanted. Single day Timers and Boost will display a time that is 1 hour behind what it should be but will not affect the time the device is triggered.
If you have any days set to repeat the Timer, you may see that the date shown in the app is 24 hours behind what it should be. This issue only affects Timers that do not have the repeat option set to every day of the week but do have the repeat option set.
The problem where Timers or Boost could not be setup has been fixed.
For Timers that require the repeat option to be set on select days of the week, please set the repeat option to be the day before you actually want it to fire. You can set the time like you normally would as even though the time is displayed in the app wrong, it doesn't affect the overall functionality of the Timer.
Example: To create a Timer to turn your device ON at 1pm on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's, set the ON/OFF setting normally, the time setting normally but set the repeat days to Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
WIFIPLUG GLASS+: Renaming
Renaming GLASS+ in the WIFIPLUG app currently does not work properly. We have found that attempting to make changes to the names of switches can result in the name being changed from your original setting to "Switch 1", "Switch 2" or "Switch 3" causing the user to have to reconfigure the switch to restore its original name.
If you require custom names for use with services such as Amazon Alexa, you can assign each individual switch to a group in your Alexa app then name the group what you would like the switch to be called.
WIFIPLUG GLASS+: Timers
Timers for different switches on GLASS+ cannot be setup properly as of yet. The issues labelled above regarding Timers are also present.
Timers can still be setup through the use of IFTTT. If you have not yet setup IFTTT, please refer to this guide on how to link it then return here to learn how to setup Timers using this service.
Open your IFTTT app, press the "My Applets" button on the navigation row then press the add button (+) in the top right corner to add a new applet. For the "this" section, select the service called "Date & Time", select the frequency you'd like the Timer to run at then select a time before pressing the tick in the top right. For the "that" section, select the "WIFIPLUG" service, choose if you want the Timer to turn your device on/off then select which device to turn on/off before pressing the tick in the top right. Press "Finish" to complete your applet.
This fix also works for WIFIPLUG V.1, WIFIPLUG2, WIFIPLUG MINI and WIFIPLUG POWER if you do not wish to apply the fix above regarding Timers.
