This guide will walk you through the installation process for your GLASS+ switch. If you are unsure about the installation process we recommend contacting a qualified electrician for assistance.
Wiring diagrams for all 3 models of GLASS+ can be downloaded towards the bottom of this article.
Please make sure that the power is turned off before attempting installation of your switch. Keeping the power turned on during installation can cause damage to the switch as well as harm to yourself. Please wait until the switch is fully installed to turn the power back on.
Remove your existing light switch. Unscrew your existing light switch from the wall and disconnect the wires from it.
Remove the mounting plate from your GLASS+ switch. To remove the mounting plate, use the tip of a flat head screwdriver to pry it off.
Thread your Neutral and Live wires through the mounting plate before screwing the plate onto the wall.
Wire your switch. Using the wiring diagrams below insert the correct wires into the correct ports on the back of your switch.
The Neutral wire from your power source should be inserted into the 'N-In' port.
The Live wire from your power source should be inserted into the 'L1-In' port.
The Live wire(s) from your light circuit(s) should be inserted into the 'L1-Out', 'L2-Out' and 'L3-Out' ports. Some ports may be covered and inaccessible depending on which model of GLASS switch you have.
Make sure that the copper wires are not in contact with each other after wiring your switch.
Clip your GLASS+ switch onto the mounting plate.
