If your WIFIPLUG is dropping off every so often then you need to make sure that your Internet doesn't drop out or cut off and the plug socket the WIFIPLUG is connected to has a constant supply of electricity.
We have also found that switching the wireless networking protocol on your router can fix this issue. Most routers will run on IEEE 802.11 B/G/N for maximum compatibility however, it has been observed that the WIFIPLUG can sometimes perform better when the protocol that is being run is IEEE 802.11 N (we recommend contacting your network provider if you are unsure how to do this).
Another solution is simply restarting your router. This will remove any barriers potentially blocking the plug from connecting and does improve the reliability of the WIFIPLUG's. Obviously this isn't a good solution if the problem continues so we recommend, as soon as your plug is online, performing a firmware update on the plug.
